Located on the top of Ga Go, in the Go Dua range, Tan  Phung village, My Tho commune, Phu My district, Binh Dinh, this lighthouse was built during the French colonial period and was called Vung Moi lighthouse.

According to many documents, the Vung Moi lighthouse operated for a while, then was destroyed by the war. In early 1990, it was newly built and officially put into use on March 26, 1997. The name of Hon Nuoc lighthouse is camped after the name of Noc island not far away.
